Let's Talk Benefits!

Competitive Pay

We take pride in providing a competitive pay range for our employees, recognizing the value and contribution each team member brings to our organization. We believe that by compensating our employees fairly, we are not only showing appreciation for their hard work but also investing in their future success.

Prepare for Your Financial Future

Saving for retirement is essential. Lake County provides an IMRF pension to employees who work over 1,000 hours per year. To supplement the pension, employees can also participate in the County's deferred savings program.

Paid Time Off

We provide our employees with a robust benefits package that includes ten (10) fixed holidays, four (4) floating holidays, personal leave, sick leave, and a generous Paid Parental Leave program. This comprehensive offering aims to support employees in maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

We strive to provide options that cater to a variety of individuals and families. Our goal is to offer peace of mind when it comes to your healthcare needs, so you can focus on living a healthy and happy life.

Strong teeth and gums are crucial for overall health, and Lake County understands this importance by providing dental insurance for you and your family. Our dental plan, managed by Delta Dental, offers access to a wide network of providers to ensure you receive the best care possible.

Having regular eye exams is crucial for your overall health and well-being. That's why Lake County provides vision insurance for qualified employees and their families through VSP. This benefit allows individuals to access necessary eye care services and maintain good vision health.
